About BajaCalc

Independent, non-governmental site

Radif Partners is an independent publisher. For BajaCalc it reads, in the Spanish Official Gazette, the General Social Security Act (arts. 169 to 176, 283 and 318), Royal Decree-law 31/2026, Decree 1646/1972, Royal Decree 53/1980, Royal Decree 1273/2003, the 2026 contribution order PJC/297/2026 and the national collective agreements that top up sick pay, and turns them into calculators that run only in your browser. It is not a public body or a mutua, files no sick notes and gives no advice.

Why BajaCalc exists

Anyone going on sick leave wants to know two things: how much they will receive and who pays it. Official pages explain the rule, but they do not run the numbers with your base, your days and your collective agreement, and almost no calculator accounts for the base month changing on 1 December 2026. Here we want you to see, within a minute, the amount for each band, with the date and payer for every day, and the BOE article next to every figure.

Who publishes it

The publisher is Radif Partners, a company that builds tools from public rules and data. It is not a public body, a mutua, an agency or a law firm. The site is not affiliated with the National Social Security Institute, the collaborating mutuas or the health services, and uses none of their logos. It charges for nothing, has no affiliate links and recommends no professional.

Where the rules come from

Length, conditions and payers come from the General Social Security Act and Royal Decree-law 31/2026; the base from Decree 1646/1972; the rates from Royal Decree 53/1980 and Decree 3158/1966; the self-employed rules from Royal Decree 1273/2003; sick notes and deadlines from Royal Decree 625/2014; top-ups from each agreement's article published in the BOE. How we calculate is in the method; how we correct, in the editorial policy.

Your data

The calculators run only in your browser: no account, no form sending us your pay, no storage. Nothing is sent. More in the privacy policy.

What the site does not do

It handles no sick notes, manages no benefits, reviews no files and gives no advice. Results apply the published rules; the amount of your sick pay is set by the INSS, the mutua or the employer that pays it.
